Platform
Glossary
EV Refurb spans marketplaces, supply chains, refurbishment, and procurement intelligence — each with its own vocabulary. The Glossary exists so that a term means the same thing everywhere it appears, and so customers seeking deeper understanding always have a single place to find it.
01 — Purpose
Why the Glossary Exists
Guidance inside the platform is deliberately layered. A hover tooltip helps a customer recognize something. An information icon clarifies what it means. The Glossary is where the full explanation lives, for the moments when a customer wants to understand a concept rather than simply complete a task.
Short explanations throughout the platform summarize these entries. They never replace them, and they never define a term independently.
02 — Structure
What Each Entry Contains
- Definition — what the term means in plain language.
- Purpose — why the concept exists on the platform.
- Business relevance — what it changes for the customer.
- Best practices — how to use it well, where useful.
03 — Coverage
Terminology Under Definition
Entries are authored as platform concepts mature, so the Glossary grows alongside the product rather than ahead of it. The following terms are the first in scope:
- Duplicate Files
- Comparison Confidence
- Manager Watch
- Current Version
- Recent Prior Version
- Source File
- Procurement Intelligence
- File Type
Definitions are being authored and published progressively. Until an entry appears here, the short explanations shown inside the workspace remain accurate — the Glossary adds depth, never different meaning.
Need Clarification on Something Specific?
If a term is unclear, tell us. Questions from customers decide which definitions get written next.
