EV Refurb Privacy Policy

EV Refurb is operated by eStation, a California sole proprietorship. Subscription payments are accepted by eStation. eStation is referred to as (“EV Refurb,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

This policy applies to public visitors, marketplace participants (buyers and sellers), account holders, organization administrators and members, Workspace subscribers, people who upload files, support contacts, and people who use our inquiry or discovery forms. Equipment purchases, delivery, supplier orders and warranties are governed separately by the Terms and Conditions, and the paid Workspace by the Workspace Subscription Terms.

• Contact, company, account, sign-in and organization information, including name, email, phone, organization name, country and region.
• Marketplace inquiries, quote and sourcing requests, listings, equipment records and messages you send us or other participants through the platform.
• Workspace records, activity, settings, and information about authorized users of your organization.
• Files you choose to upload, such as equipment photos, technical documents, test records, spreadsheets, résumés and other attachments.
• Subscription, billing-contact, transaction, invoice and subscription-status information.
• Technical information: device and browser details, IP address, security and error logs, and usage information.

When Manager subscriptions are live, payments are accepted by eStation and processed through Stripe, and payment-card information is handled by Stripe. EV Refurb does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.

To create and secure accounts; deliver the Workspace and Manager features; support organization administration; store and retrieve files; publish listings you choose to publish and match supply with demand; process payments; provide customer support; send service and legally required messages; detect fraud and protect security; meet legal obligations; and improve the service.

Some features send the text of a request you submit (for example, an equipment discovery request) to an AI model provider to produce a result for you. EV Refurb does not use your content to train AI models. Our AI gateway provider states that it does not store prompts or train on app requests; the underlying model provider’s own retention terms also apply.

• Stripe, for subscription payment processing, when Manager subscriptions are live.
• Service providers that run the platform on our behalf: application hosting and delivery (Cloudflare, through Lovable), authentication, database and file storage (Supabase, through Lovable Cloud), transactional email (Lovable’s email service), analytics and advertising measurement (Google Analytics and Google Ads, only if you allow them in your cookie choices), and AI model processing (Google Gemini models, through the Lovable AI Gateway).
• Authorized users within your own organization.
• Other participants, only when you submit an inquiry, publish a listing, share a record, or otherwise direct us to share it. Published listings are public.
• Regulators, courts, advisers or others where required by law or needed to protect rights, safety and security.

We do not sell customer files or Workspace content.

Uploaded files are stored to provide the service. They are accessible to authorized users of the relevant organization through organization-scoped permissions. EV Refurb personnel with an administrator or operator role can also access files; this access is limited to those roles, key actions are recorded in audit logs, and staff do not routinely browse organization files. Files are shared outside your organization only when you publish a listing, create a share, or take another workflow action that directs sharing. Documents, attachments, inquiry files and résumés are checked for file size, type and content, including an automated malware check, before storage. Listing photos and support screenshots currently receive size and type checks only. Private documents are delivered through links that expire after a few minutes.

You can remove photos and archive listings you control. Some records, such as listing history and audit records, are retained after removal. Deleted content may remain in backups; we do not currently commit to a fixed backup-retention period. There is no self-service export or deletion tool for organization files today. To request export or deletion of your organization’s files, contact us.

We keep information while your account or subscription is active and afterward only as needed for legitimate business, legal, security, accounting and dispute-resolution purposes.

We use role-based and organization-level access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), upload checks, audit logging and restricted personnel access. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Our database and file storage are hosted in the United States (US West). Web pages are delivered through a global content network, and some features use service providers that may process information in other countries, with appropriate safeguards where required.

You may ask to access, correct, delete or export your information, or object to or restrict certain processing, by emailing support@evrefurb.com. We will confirm your request and respond within the time required by applicable law.

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and people in the EU or UK may have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

We use essential technologies to keep you signed in and secure. With your permission, we use Google Analytics to measure site usage and Google Ads to measure advertising. Both stay off until you choose. When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept all, Reject all or Manage each category, and you can change your choice at any time using “Cookie preferences” in the site footer. Your choice is stored in your browser. Marketing messages are sent only where permitted, and you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

EV Refurb is a business service and is not directed to children.
